Deborah A. Ware

Deborah A. (Smith) Ware, of Wayland, formerly of Wellesley, died on March 8.

She was the beloved wife of Robert Borden Ware for 62 years, devoted mother of Susan L. Hartman and her husband, Steven of Williston, Vt., and Karen L. Reid of Oxford; loving grandmother of Samuel, Jessica, Erin, Caitlyn; and sister of Natalie Kase of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., and Jay Smith of Beverly.

Deborah was an artist for over 50 years. She was also a retired second-grade teacher.

Visitation was held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, Wellesley, on March 12 and funeral service was held on March 13. Interment in North Cemetery, Wayland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Deborah’s memory to the Home for Little Wanderers 72 E. Dedham St., Boston, MA 02118.
