Nov. 14 deadline set to apply for Community Preservation Act funding

The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) announced Nov.14 as the application deadline for 2025 Community Preservation Act projects. The projects selected by the town’s CPC will be presented at the April Annual Town Meeting. Project application forms are now available on the CPC web page (www.wayland.ma.us/community-preservation-committee). Proposed projects must meet eligibility requirements in the categories of open space, historic preservation, community housing, and/or certain types of recreation. Project applications, with supporting documentation, must be submitted by Nov. 14 at 5 p.m., by postal mail; in-person in the Town Building; or by email to both sweinstein@wayland.ma.us and dstotz@wayland.ma.us. The CPC will designate 15 minutes on its meeting agenda to speak with each applicant. The dates have not yet been finalized, but the CPC anticipates hearing from applicants at a November meeting the week after the deadline and, if needed, another during the first week of December. The CPC will contact applicants with meeting details. Contact Susan Weinstein and Doug Stotz at the email addresses above with any questions.
