An accident on Boston Post Road last night temporarily closed the street to fix a downed power line.
A car crashed into the utility pole near 155 Boston Post Road on April 7 at approximately 4:52 p.m.
The Wayland Police Department asked drivers to find alternate routes until the area was cleared. The road was reopened after midnight on April 8.
“We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this closure is in effect. For everyone’s safety, please follow posted detours and use caution when traveling nearby,” Wayland police posted on Facebook.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
