The Upcycling Unit Art Workshop for Students

Join Shining Xu and Aaliyah Kachroo of Wayland Middle School for a creative workshop launching their eighth-grade civics project on recycling awareness and litter reduction. With support from Shania Velleca of Arts Wayland, participants will transform found litter into original works of art. Bring local litter and turn it into something beautiful. The concept is straightforward: no cooking, no pressure, just show up and enjoy. Pizza, popcorn, drinks, and a mix of beer and wine are available, creating a laid-back “Sunday reset” where people can unwind, connect, and spend time with friends or meet new ones. $15 for single, $45 for family.
