Event Organizer (volunteer)

Are you enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about our community newspaper? We’re seeking a dynamic individual who can utilize their organizational skills to plan and execute engaging and successful fundraising events. Your ideas and energy will help keep independent journalism thriving in Wayland.

Required Skills:

Senior living columnist  (volunteer)

Do you enjoy writing and have a keen interest in senior activities and lifestyles? We are seeking a mature and compassionate storyteller to write a monthly column covering Council on Aging events, senior-related happenings in Wayland, and inspiring stories about seniors exploring exciting new hobbies or sharing fascinating life experiences.

Fundraiser  (volunteer)

Support local journalism by joining our fundraising team! We’re looking for an individual who can help generate enthusiasm and financial support within our community. You’ll play a crucial role in sustaining the Wayland Post’s commitment to fact-driven, independent journalism.

Sales associates (compensated)

Outgoing and persuasive? Join our sales team and help the Wayland Post grow by building relationships with local businesses and driving advertising revenue. Flexible hours, commission-based incentives, and the chance to actively support your community newspaper.
