Wayland voters filled all positions on the ballot without any contested races in the April 28 Annual Town Election, according to unofficial results released by the Town Clerk.
All candidates who appeared on the ballot were elected to their respective positions, with most races featuring either a single candidate for one seat or exactly the number of candidates as available seats.
For Select Board, Christopher Hume Reynolds and incumbent William D. Whitney were elected to the two available seats, receiving 632 and 627 votes, respectively.
Miranda S. Jones was elected moderator with 703 votes.
On the Board of Health, Jonathan C. Storer received 625 votes and Kathryn Holland Stiff garnered 635.
William Alan Sterling was elected to the Planning Board with 644 votes.
In the School Committee race, Jessica Greher Traue and Prashant Pushker Shukla secured the two available seats with 644 and 601 votes, respectively.
Mark A. Norton was elected Recreation Commissioner for a three-year term with 655 votes, and Michael Thomas Grant won the one-year seat with 640 votes.
The Board of Public Works race was decided entirely by write-in votes, which totaled 107, with Jonathan Storer receiving 17 of those votes.
Earl Zeligman was elected to the Board of Assessors with 642 votes, alongside additional write-in votes.
Aida Abboud Gennis and Leah B. Hart were elected as Trustees of the Public Library with 675 and 666 votes, respectively.
Robert Chisholm Fox was elected Commissioner of Trust Funds with 663 votes.
Voter turnout was 7.4%, with 782 ballots cast out of 10,613 registered voters, as shown in the totals on page 3 of the report.
The results remain unofficial pending final certification, which may include adjustments for hand-counted ballots and write-ins.
