Survey on trash, recycling
The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete. Your responses will help the town evaluate current waste disposal practices and inform future planning. Individual responses will remain confidential, and results will be reported only in summary form.
The survey can be filled out online at tinyurl.com/trash-survey, or hard copies of the survey are available at the Town Building, the Council on Aging, and the Wayland Free Public Library.
Help out family in need The Kennedy family of Wayland is enduring difficult times after their son, Jake, sustained a serious injury at college. He is currently at Spaulding Rehab Center in Boston. Friends of the family have set up a meal schedule to help out with long days at rehab. Visit www.giveinkind.com and search “kennedy-family-1” to sign up. The Wayland Sons of Italy is also hosting a pasta dinner fundraiser on April 11, 5 to 9:30 p.m., at St. Ann’s Rectory, 124 Cochituate Road. Town Meeting survey To better predict the number of voting handsets required at Wayland’s Annual Town Meeting that starts May 4, the Electronic Voting Implementation Subcommittee has set up an anonymous online survey. Participation will help reduce cost, and allow the town to provide a more efficient and orderly town meeting experience. Answer the brief survey at tinyurl.com/election-survey.
