2:38 p.m. — A 911 call from Cochituate Village Apartments, 106 Main St., reported a smell coming from the building; the Fire Department confirmed a slight odor. A rooftop unit was shut down and management was notified.
4:38 p.m. — A call from Almaari Jewelers, 65 Andrew Ave., reported that a garden bed was smoking, though there was no fire. Responders found mulch smoldering from a discarded cigarette and wetted down the area.
5:43 p.m. — The CVS at 150 Main St. reported a larceny of goods of small monetary value.
Tuesday, March 31 12:08 a.m. — A large animal was reported in the roadway on Commonwealth Road and Decolores Drive. Animal control was notified.
8:22 a.m. — Police reported a minor two-car accident on Cochituate Road at Millbrook Road.
9:23 a.m. — A resident of Glezen Lane and several other callers reported a wire on fire and possibly igniting a tree. The electric company was notified.
Wednesday, April 1 8:03 a.m. — A motor vehicle crash involving two cars occurred on Main Street; there were no injuries.
9:08 a.m. — A caller from Aqueduct Road reported that a “turtle crossing” sign was in the roadway. An officer confirmed that the sign was removed from the roadway and a message was left for the resident.
8:23 p.m. — The CVS at 150 Main St. called 911 to report an incident of shoplifting by a female wearing a mask, who was seen leaving the scene in a white Nissan Altima.
Thursday, April 2 7:19 a.m. — A caller from Commonwealth Road reported a deer on the side of the roadway at a private residence; it turned out the deer was dead. The Dog Officer responded to a call for disposal that they would not pick it up.
8:58 a.m. — A resident of Rich Valley Road telephoned concerning a sick skunk on the property. The animal was found to be dead; the homeowner will take care of it.
6:37 p.m. — A resident of Lundy Lane called 911 for help with a fire in his chimney; he thought he had extinguished it but there was still a lot of smoke in the house.
7:55 p.m. — A report was received that larceny of items of small value had occurred at the CVS at 150 Main Street.
Friday, April 3 12:43 p.m. — The postmaster reported that an SUV with NY license plates and front-end damage was apparently following a delivery driver on their route.
12:46 p.m. — A Keith Road resident came to the station for assistance with text messages he is receiving from the RMV; police provided advice.

Monday, April 6 8:34 a.m. — Following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road near Winthrop Road, police arrested Dennis Reynold, 41, of West Townsend, for driving with a suspended license. The vehicle was towed by State Road Autobody.
2:02 p.m. — Public safety personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at School Street and Commonwealth Road involving two cars, both of which were towed to State Road Autobody.
3:49 p.m. — A two-vehicle traffic accident that occurred at 19 Main Street was reported by 911.
5:22 p.m. — Following an emergency call, Fire Department personnel metered the swimming pool area at Longfellow Health Club, 524 Boston Post Road, and found a high level of carbon monoxide. The furnace causing the high level was located, and management was notified.
7:29 p.m. — Police received a 911 call from a driver at Saint Ann’s Church, 134 Cochituate Road, after striking a coyote with their car. The coyote expired while officers were on scene, and animal control was notified.
Tuesday, April 7 6:51 a.m. — A party came to the station to report a three-car traffic accident that had occurred at the intersection of Routes 20, 126 and 27. No ambulance was needed.
8:09 a.m. — A two-car motor vehicle accident on Plain Road was reported by 911; there were no injuries, but one car was towed by State Road Autobody.
11:58 a.m. — A resident of Commonwealth Road came to the station to ask police to accompany them to retrieve some identification that they had lost with their wallet and had been found in town.
3:13 p.m. — A 911 call reported a three-car motor vehicle accident on Old Connecticut Path near the High School; transport to hospital was required for three persons.
4:52 p.m. — An accident on Boston Post Road, involving a single vehicle, was called in by 911.
Wednesday, April 8 8:46 p.m. — A patron of 110 Grill, 171 Commonwealth Road, reported the theft of a motor vehicle. The vehicle was later found parked nearby. Two people were given courtesy transport.
Thursday, April 9 3:14 p.m. — Multiple calls were received from the vicinity of Wayland Automotive, 322 Commonwealth Road, concerning a fence that was on fire.
3:53 p.m. — A motor vehicle accident involving two cars was reported from the Sunoco Station, 78 Boston Post Road.
Friday, April 10 12:26 a.m. — Following a motor vehicle stop, police arrested and took into custody Adryel Silva Alves, 22, of Everett, for driving with a suspended license.
8:26 a.m. — Police having stopped a motor vehicle on Main Street near Willard Street, it was found that the registration had been revoked due to insurance cancellation. The SUV was towed by State Road Autobody.
6:39 p.m. — A 911 call was received from a person complaining that a truck behind her on Route 20 near Russell’s, 397 Boston Post Road, was tailgating, honking, and trying to run her off the roadway. An officer was able to speak with the operator.
9:11 p.m.—An accident at Fuller Road and West Plain Street occurred when a single vehicle struck a hydrant. The Fire Department confirmed there was no damage to the hydrant and left a message for the water department. The vehicle was towed by AAA.
Saturday, April 11 1:39 a.m. — After stopping his motor vehicle on Commonwealth Road near Stanton Street, police took into custody Billy Anderson Lopez Perez, 23, of Waltham, for OUI, possession of an open container of alcohol, and speeding.
12:33 p.m. — A two-car accident at the intersection at Wayland Center was phoned in. There were no injuries.
3:33 p.m. — A 911 call reported an accident near the Middlesex Savings Bank, 150 Commonwealth Road, involving two cars and no injuries.
Sunday, April 12
12:44 a.m. — Following a motor vehicle stop on Commonwealth Road, police arrested Marco Antonio Garcia Ramos, 28, of Hudson, for OUI and possession of an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
