Wayland celebrated the grand opening of Dunkin’ and Jimmy John’s located at 289 Boston Post Road with a ribbon-cutting on Friday, April 17. The opening marked the debut of the network’s first Dunkin’ and Jimmy John’s combo location in Wayland.
Town Manager Michael McCall joined owners Megan and Mark Pesce, Select Board Chair Carol Martin, Town Planner Robert Hummel, Health Director Julia Junghanns, DPW Superintendent Joe Doucette, and Building Commissioner Nathan Maltinsky for the grand opening of Dunkin’ and Jimmy John’s.
The grand opening featured brief remarks from the business owners. They donated $5,000 to the Wayland Community Fund, which was presented in partnership with the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, to show their support for local initiatives.
McCall presented Megan and Mark Pesce with an official citation from the Massachusetts State Senate in honor of their grand opening.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dunkin’ and Jimmy John’s to Wayland. These businesses provide additional new options for our residents and visitors traveling along Route 20. We look forward to seeing these establishments grow and succeed in our community,” said McCall.
