Singer Performs at National Conference

Wayland High School student Margaret Agyeman performed in the prestigious All National Honor Choir at the 2025 American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), National Conference on March 22 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas. More than 5,000 students in middle and high schools throughout the United States auditioned.

Approximately 300 students were selected through a competitive blind nationwide-audition to join the All National Treble Honor Choir, directed by Dr. Lynnel Joy Jenkins.

Selection reflects the artistry, skill and dedication of the students who make up the choir given the thousands of talented vocalists from around the country who audition, according to Director of Choral Arts Rachel Caroll.

The songs performed by the choir were “Flight,” “Gloria,” “Kajoniensis,” “Dedication,” “Measure Me,” Sky!”, “Beyond What I See” and “Tuttarana.”
