Wayland Girl Scouts from Troop 66268 included five high school students from Ambassadors to Adults in a Court of Awards ceremony at Wayland High School on March 5. They celebrated Sofie F., Fiona W., Vivi B., Ellen R., and Meredith S. (not present). Sen. Jamie Eldridge, state Rep. David Linsky, and Select Board member Carol Martin attended the event.
Girl Scout Ambassador Fiona W. was also recognized for earning her Gold Award, Helping Teens Through Music. Eldridge, Linsky, Martin, and state Rep. Carmine Gentile honored her with citations.
Recognition was also given to troop leader Maureen White, who led their troop for 13 years along with leader Leslie Schuh.
