Tuesday, April 14 11:20 a.m. — A 911 caller from Parmenter Road stated that tree limbs had pulled down wires in the road. Officers found the way was impassable; the area was taped off and Verizon and Eversource were notified.
12:52 p.m. — A resident of Moore Road called to report the odor of gas in the area and home. Fire Department found a slight odor; the gas was shut off.
12:55 p.m. — A Draper Road resident came to the station to report that someone had withdrawn funds from his bank account using a fraudulent check.
1:58 p.m. — The station received a 911 call from Andrew Avenue and Lillian Way, reporting that a dog, while leashed, was struck and killed by a car.
Wednesday, April 15
7:13 a.m. — A caller from Cochituate Road reported an injured turkey in the roadway.
7:21 a.m. — A two-car traffic accident occurred at the Gulf Gas Station, 28 Boston Post Road, called in by 911.
9:59 a.m. — A resident of Wisteria Way came to the station to discuss an internet scam; the party stated he sent a check for $1,000.
Thursday, April 16 8:16 a.m. — A two-car accident was called in from Commonwealth Road; there were no injuries.
12:57 a.m. — A resident of East Plain Street came to the station to report the unauthorized use of her credit card.
1:22 p.m. — A resident of Alden Road walked into the station to speak with a police officer about an internet scam.
2:11 p.m. — The animal control officer called the station to request assistance with a sick skunk on Trinity Place. The skunk was dispatched.
4:48 p.m. — A Pickwick Way resident called to speak with an officer about an internet scam.
4:54 p.m. — A caller from Alta Oxbow, 492 Boston Post Road, reported the theft of a package from outside the entrance of the building.
6:18 p.m. — A motor vehicle accident at CVS, 150 Main St., was called in by 911. One of the operators was concerned the other driver was trying to leave the scene; both were present when the sergeant arrived.
Friday, April 17 2:11 p.m. — A 911 call reported a traffic crash involving two vehicles on Rice Road at Elizabeth Road; no transport to hospital was needed, but one car was towed.
4:25 p.m. — An officer stated she received a report of a bicyclist that had been struck by a car near the Middle School. The juvenile’s parents were contacted; no transport to hospital was required.
Saturday, April 18
8:44 a.m. — A resident of Decatur Lane phoned in the report of a possible water main break. Once confirmed, the Water Department was notified.
10:22 a.m. — A call from Lincoln Road said that there was mail scattered all over the roadway. A check of the area determined that several houses were affected. The mail was collected and brought to the police department to be returned to the owners.
3:12 p.m. — A traffic accident occurred on Old Connecticut Path at Old Farm Road involving two vehicles and requiring transportation to hospital.
4:20 p.m. — A person called from 110 Grill, 171 Commonwealth Road, about a possibly fake parking ticket on her windshield. Police confirmed the ticket did not come from the Wayland PD.

Monday, April 20 11:14 a.m. — A resident of Maguire Road called to speak with an officer in regards to eggs being thrown at her home.
3:41 p.m. — Police spoke with a party from Donelan’s Market, 177 Commonwealth Road, who came to the station to report being harassed at work.
Tuesday, April 21 9:34 a.m. — A 911 call reported a hit and run by a white van that struck the caller’s car at the Loker Conservation Area, 412 Commonwealth Road, and then continued east on Route 30.
8:15 p.m. — A caller from Sherman’s Bridge Road reported that a vehicle was submerged in the Sudbury River. The vehicle had been parked on the boat ramp and accidentally rolled down into the water with no one inside. It was removed from the river in the morning.

Thursday, April 23 12:16 p.m. — A resident of Erwin Road came to the station to report that his mail had been stolen.
8:46 p.m. — A resident of Plain Road called with a concern about a truck that had been parked in her driveway. The parties were advised.
Friday, April 24
1:47 p.m. — A caller from State Road Auto Body, 292 Boston Post Road, reported that a car for sale on the property was damaged with a key.
4:17 p.m. — A resident of Plain Road came to the station to report that their mail was stolen.
Saturday, April 25 1:37 p.m. — A bicyclist was injured when struck by a car on Old Sudbury Road at Wayland Country Club, as reported by a 911 call. The victim was transported to Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
2:00 p.m. — A resident of School Street came to the station to speak with an officer in regards to a text message about a parking ticket, which appeared to be a scam.
5:10 p.m. — A two-car traffic accident was reported to have occurred on School Street at Commonwealth Road.
Sunday, April 26 12:53 p.m. — An employee of CVS, 150 Main St., called to report an incident of shoplifting.
1:40 p.m. — A call from Loker Street reported an unattended burn pile. Fire Department found that the resident had an active burn permit, but the fire was unattended and had no water source. The resident was advised and allowed to continue burning.
9:35 p.m. — A call from the alarm company at Herb Chambers of Wayland, 533 Boston Post Road, reported three individuals (2 white males and one white female) present on the property; the alarm company provided descriptions.
