Help keep the news flowing

The next override debate will not be won or lost on slogans. It will be won or lost on information.

Wayland is entering one of the most important conversations a town can have: what services we expect, what we’re willing to pay for, and what we can no longer afford. The Wayland Post gathers and presents information residents need so they can understand what they’re voting on, but that process takes time and money — for reporters and editors who watch meetings, source documents, and ask follow-up questions, as well as newspaper layout, printing, and delivery.

The Wayland Post is a nonprofit free newspaper, but free to read is not free to produce. We are asking every reader who values real local news to make a contribution. A recurring gift of $20 a month or $240 a year helps pay for the reporting capacity Wayland needs, but gifts of any amount and frequency are welcome. What matters most is that more residents step forward.
