8:01 a.m. — A complaint was telephoned into the station from a school crossing guard at Happy Hollow School, reporting that multiple vehicles were running the stop sign leaving the school.
9:12 a.m. — Wayland Postmaster called to report he had been notified that mailboxes in town had possibly been gone through after the mail had been delivered.
12:53 p.m. — A two-car accident which occurred at the Landfill, 484 Boston Post Road, was called in by 911. An injured operator was transported to Newton-Wellesley Hospital, and both vehicles were towed by State Road Autobody.
1:53 p.m. — A caller from Draper Road reported that a transformer was sparking and power had been lost. The Fire Department confirmed that Eversource was on the scene.
4:26 p.m. — A Linn Lane resident called about a low hanging wire. The area was taped off and Eversource was notified.
9:38 p.m. — Station received several calls about a large tree down, blocking a lane of travel on Concord Road. The tree was moved to the side of the roadway.
11:32 p.m. — A resident of Alden Road reported an alarm was sounding and there was an individual with a flashlight in the neighbor’s house. An officer had the homeowner turn off the alarm.
Tuesday, March 17 3:37 a.m. — A caller from Glezen Lane reported that a tree had fallen on wires, blocking the road and knocking out power. Police confirmed, notified Eversource and the Highway Department, and closed Concord Road, Glezen Lane and Draper Road.
4:46 a.m. — A police sergeant radioed that a fallen tree was blocking Shaw Drive; DPW was notified.
4:58 a.m. — A caller reported that a tree was down, blocking traffic in the vicinity of Old Sudbury Road and Glezen Lane. The tree was cleared off the roadway by the responding officer.
6:10 a.m. — A report of a large tree blocking the roadway on Mainstone Road at Glen Oak Drive was telephoned in. DPW was notified.
6:18 a.m. — A caller said that there were trees down at the entrance of an apartment complex at Turkey Hill Road and Rice Road, blocking the entrance and preventing entry. DPW was notified.
Wednesday, March 18 10:50 a.m. — A caller from Oxbow Road stated there are two trees down on Old Oxbow Road. An officer confirmed and DPW was notified.
2:14 p.m. — A resident of Tally Ho Lane called police to report there is a broken window at the rear of the home and that there were lights on this morning that had not been on previously. Police confirmed that a break-in had occurred, but it was determined that nothing had been stolen.
2:45 p.m. — An employee at Middlesex Savings Bank called 911 to report that a female party at the bank was on the phone with a possible scammer trying to have her wire over $62,000 to them. The responding officer advised the victim to tell the scammer that funds would not be transferred. The scammer disconnected the line; no money was lost.
Thursday, March 19 8:02 a.m. — A driver called from Mel’s Commonwealth Café, 310 Commonwealth Road, to report that a gray Mercedes SUV struck his vehicle and then left the scene of the accident, heading down Oak Street into Natick.
Friday, March 20 8:53 a.m. — A 911 call reported that a tree along Glezen Lane had fallen on a truck. There was no injury; DPW was notified.
10:22 a.m. — A driver at Sunrise Assisted Living, 285 Commonwealth Road, reported by 911 that his vehicle had been struck in the parking lot.
7:41 p.m. — A three-car accident with possible injuries occurred at Saint Ann’s Church, 134 Cochituate Road, and was called in via 911. Two people were transported to area hospitals and two cars needed to be towed.
Saturday, March 21 3:38 p.m. — A resident of Alta Oxbow, 492 Boston Post Road, reported that on multiple occasions there was money taken from her vehicle parked in the garage.
Sunday, March 22 5:05 p.m. — From a Draper Road resident a call was received concerning wires sparking in some trees. The electric company was notified.
Monday, March 23 12:29 p.m. — Property damage was reported by a walk-in who resides at Pickwick Way.
3:28 p.m. — A motor vehicle crash at Concord and Sherman’s Bridge roads involved two cars and sent one person to Emerson Hospital with possible injuries.
6:14 p.m. — A robbery was reported by a party who was selling a camera on Facebook Marketplace. The seller had met a buyer at the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts, 15 East Plain St.; the buyer ran off with the camera without paying, got in a vehicle and fled. The incident is under investigation.
Tuesday, March 24 7:55 a.m. — A motor vehicle accident with injuries occurred when a car collided with a pickup truck parked at the Loker Conservation area. One person was taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
4:32 p.m. — A Glezen Lane homeowner called to state that his realtor notified him that someone is parking four trailers and two pickup trucks on his property, along with dumping other items there.
Wednesday, March 25
2:20 p.m. — A call came from the Medical Offices at 241 Boston Post Road that a vehicle had struck the building a short while before, causing damage. The operator of the vehicle did not report the accident to the business or to the public safety. The police captain determined the damage was cosmetic and said the police department would handle it.
Thursday, March 26 4:21 p.m. — A resident of Herland Way telephoned to report that construction material had been illegally dumped near the aqueduct side of the road. DPW was notified.
8:12 p.m. — A 911 call reported a collision between a car and a pickup truck near the intersection of Commonwealth Road and Main Street. The car was towed to State Road Autobody.
Friday, March 27 10:24 a.m. — Following a motor vehicle stop, police arrested Victor Alfonso Collado, 39, of Revere, who was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a false or stolen RMV document and identity fraud.
9:50 a.m. — A traffic accident involving two cars occurred at Cochituate Road near Millbrook Road; there was minor damage.
Sunday, March 29 10:51 a.m. — A driver called to report that all the traffic lights were out at the intersection of Main and East Plain streets. The signal company was notified, and stop signs were positioned at the intersection.
5:51 p.m. — A traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Commonwealth Road when one vehicle rear-ended a second vehicle and pushed it into the vehicle in front. There were no injuries and no major damage to the vehicles.
